Anxiety and depression are among the most common medical conditions in the United States, affecting over 40 million adults. Yet less than half receive treatment. At Viva Medical Center, we integrate mental health screening and management into primary care — because your mind and your body cannot be separated.
What We Treat
- Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD)
- Major Depressive Disorder (MDD)
- Panic Disorder
- Social Anxiety
- Adjustment Disorder
- Mild to moderate PTSD
- ADHD in adults
Our Approach
We use validated screening tools (PHQ-9 for depression, GAD-7 for anxiety) at every annual physical. For mild-moderate conditions, we provide medication management (SSRIs, SNRIs) and behavioral coaching in our primary care setting. For complex cases, we coordinate referral to our psychiatry partners.

- Excessive worry that interferes with daily function
